Hey guys, I guess luck finally caught up with me. After having this car for 2 years with no problems.. my luck runs out. I didn't notice this until I got home. I didn't see the passenger side until I began dusting my car. ![Frown](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)

How will I go about reporting this to the insurance company? I do not know where I got hit or by who. And can anybody recommend a good bodyshop near the Walnut area that will do a good job on the repair?
Thanks.![Crying](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/Peace.gif)
BTW. Can anyone estimate the cost in damages?
EDIT:
After countless hours of buffing, polishing, waxing, etc, this is the best I think it will ever be. Big difference though, can't say I'm not satisfied.

Not sure how long it would take. As far as the rental car, since this is a hit and run, it will depend on whether you purchased the car rental on your policy.

You definitely want to call the insurance company and get it to the body shop asap. Thy can look at the car to order all the parts they need, when the parts are in THEN take your car in for the work. If you have rental car coverage, then you get a rental, no coverage = no rental. Unless you can find the guy that did it, then his insurance would likely cover your rental.
Good luck to ya.

Will your rate go up if you claim this, in your policy? Do you have a deductable amt? If any of these questions come into play it may be worth it to find your own way to fix it?
