Thanks guys! I don't wanna re-invent the wheel but if any of you guys wanna do a carPC just check out www.mp3car.com tons of tutorials and writeups. If you need help selecting parts just hit me up.

After building 3-4 of these things I found the best way to go about it is to use a laptop with a broken screen... its cheap, easy to use and did I mention cheap? lol. I will post up some pics of where I hid the laptop and everything else later this week.

My setup basically consists of:

Averatec laptop (broken screen)
Cig adapter power cord
m2atx power supply
Bluetooth dongle
OBD-II to USB cable
BU-303 GPS for nav
Lilliput 7inch touchscreen
Centrafuse software to run everything
External mic for voice control/phone calls

For the audio:

pioneed mids
kenwood tweets
2 12 inch kickers
kicker 4 channel amp

Well I ended up selling my rims today. So I had to put the car back on some stocks I found laying around at a friends house for now. I must say the car feels so much nicer dropped with the stock wheels, the car feels quicker and the ride is smooooooooooth but not bouncy at all!

I almost wanna keep the stock wheels on there.................

New wheels will be here this week, I will post pics when they are mounted.

Thanks fellas!

I think we're only at around 4 months. I 'd say another 2-3 months before its close to done tho.

Ok so I hated how the stock wheels looked even tho they rode great. So I borrowed my buddies Work EuroLines until my wheels get here. Its gonna suck giving them back, I love how they look =P

Sorry for the crappy shots. my camera does suck.

Shots of the OBD-II working - everything displayed within the same easy to navigate front end.
