hi guys yesterday i was driving my gs and i have a friend from afganistan.
he came lately from japan so i decided to go to him to say hi then i saw at his shop land cruiser air filter intake it look to me like the gs intake so i toke the intake and go to my friend work shop finally i fit it after 3 hours of working and changing, the car start with the landcruiser maf but with little vibration so i changed the maf sensors and the car started perfect then i drive to home i arrived home at 1 am midnight i was so tired so i went to bed with out eating my dinner .

funny night to me installing land cruiser air intake in my gs lol but to be honest my car run faster than before u can feel the diffrence now my car jump at shifting like a horse i didnt know that air intake can do this.

*** its not oem and i dont have the part numbers ill post pics soon im know going to change some pipes i think its custom japanese intake

So what did you do? You took the air cleaner and piping from a Land Cruiser and hooked it up to your GS400?

When I think of intake, I think of the intake manifold. That's not what you're talking about is it?

I have no idea if they are interchangable.

Also, post pics. I'd like to see this.

Sounds cool - new intake options. And yeah Rain + Lexus Interior would = bad. Glad to hear you did not have to total your car due to it being filled up like a glass of water.
