Default Need help with daytime running lights

I just got my first Lexus yesterday! I got a 1998 GS400 and am loving every inch of it. I have one problem with the car and it is the lights. I have the HID factory headlights which I like very much. I just can't stand the daytime running light's color. It looks yellow at night compared to the headlights. How can I get the daytime lights to look more like the normal headlights without spending hundreds of dollars. I wouldn't even mind a light with a blue tint to it. Also, can I get lights for the fog lights that would match the as well. I feel like I have a rainbow on the front of my car with all the different colored lights. Thank you in advance for the help, I am gonna need it because it is my first Lexus. Also, any quick tips on things I might not know for improving a Lexus GS400. If anyone ever needs tips on detailing, don't hesitate to ask.

Welcome to Club Lexus! And congrats on the GS400! Great decision, you'll love it, i'm sure

For your running lights... you could spend hours doing research on the different colors/types of bulbs available. But the general consensus is to go with either the Polarg M6 or M4 bulbs I believe. They match the OEM HID's as well as anything else. Check ebay... they're like $20 usually.

For your fog lights, many members have either the clear or yellow ones, if you have yellow and want the white, you can always trade another member on the 2nd Gen GS classifieds section. Lotsa people trade foglights for other colors. Or you can look in the same section for a used/new set of HID foglights if ya wanna spend some money.

Use the "Search" function on the website as well. There's a thread on here that has pictures of like 20 different bulbs and compares them all, including TONS of LED bulbs.

Also, you should usually search for answers to your questions first, otherwise some members will get all pissy about it and tell you to search before you ask questions that have already been answered a million times before.

Last thing... post some pictures of your new car!!!
