Interesting. Are you going to swap those lenses onto the 01+ tails? How'd you open them up?

For the price, anyone would be crazy to buy the JP tails when you can retro these into the OEM! The only thing missing is that the OEM has more diffuser, but that's minor detail. Great job!!

first step: i open them by heating the cover by the hair dryer and with screw driver u can open them without heating it but plz be carefull becuase its can break up or scratch even with heating dont heat it more than limit just little bit if u kept heating it the plastic cover will burn
second step: opening the oem tails ( i cant open them becuase the factory dont use silecone as much the glue so it was hard enough and i broke the both plactic covers i was tearing becuase my tails was one month old)
third step: the led cover will not fit directly becuase both of them have deffrent size for the plactic cover so i shaved it from inside
last step:fixing and fitting by black silecone be carefull and close every big and tiny hole with silcone u dont want to have water in the lights after washing the car i add silcone 3 times to be sure theres no holes and it fits correcly
i hope thats i helped every one this is my first time opening my tails so u dont need to be profesor just be carefull.
