Wow! I have been feeling the same way lately. A friend of mine has one and more and more lately I've been thinking of getting one myself. I'll definitely keep my GS3 though. Hopefully within the next 2 years.

not trying to hate or anything but be prepared....hope u have another car...its gonna be in the shop once in a while hahaha id stick wit LEXUS forever if i was rich id get a brand new LS

Why does the E55 AMG seem to be the natural progression for GS owners? My boy sold his GS4 and copped the 06' E55 AMG in 07' then i bought by GS430 in early 08' and the previous owner bought a 05' E55 AMG White/Burgundy.. I guess its only natural haha.. More Power, automatic adjustable suspension and great handling..

man i know this is a Lexus forum and Lexus are luxury but ***** these are some big $$ cars, at least here in Australia...!
i mean i know the retail on my 2GS 10yrs ago was around $110,000AUD (on today's exchange rates that's around $74,000USD) but mine only cost me $20,000AUD ($13,000USD) and that was through the only Lexus dealer in Perth plus there arent many 2GS here at all and so it was higher priced than it could have been.
So i checked out the price of those 06 AMG E55 here and you're looking at 2nd hand around $130,000AUD ($87,000USD)!
I'm guessing you guys saying its a "natural progression" are moreso the original owners of these 2GS so you are big fish in the 4 figures (AUD$) market, not the type like me coming through as 2nd owners!!
