If some one has access to a CNC machine, they could fab up an aluminum one.

Red top is OK for everyday use, yellow top is best if you have lots of audio equipment etc. and is meant to be fully drained and recharged multiple times.

for a daily driver, our yellow top is a better battery. n he didnt want it in aluminum, he wanted a invisible battery tie down. i think i might do this to my yellow top too but with a twist

A close relative of mine actually works at a machine shop. I was planning on having a aluminum version made up. I also plan on fooling with the basic block design while i am at it. We will see.
