So when I bought my car, it came with 2 normal keys (no remote, since the original owner got the car repossessed from him), 1 for the ignition and 1 for the doors. Now, Lexus is telling me that if I wanted a master key, they would of course have to change out my ecu and program new keys to it...I was wondering since my ignition key is programmed (no buttons on key), can any other place make a spare of it?? I wanna do this in order to have remote start on my car since im gonna need a key inside the black box in order to have it...its such a hassle not being able to warm the car up every morning with a press of a button. any suggestions of what I can do? besides changing out everything which will cost me 700 bucks? lol

 

nooooooooo must have a master key to make a spare that will work with immobilizer. PLEASE use search forum next time and review. like 80 posts on this i swear i hear bout one ever other day. not gripping at you as your new BUT please try and use search forum next time...that way we dont have 81 posts on this.
