Timing Beld change little oil leak!!! How much shout it cost?

thanks what i am gonna do now...i got in touch with a customer of mine who happen to be a lexus service manager in south florida...this is what I got...what you think if its a good deal..
All original from dealer parts, oem lexus timing belt, Water Pump, Valve cover gaskit, 2 other gaskit and seals, spart plus and wires...throttle body clean up , 2 oem o2 sensors (as they are totally gone) ...parts and labor all together $700!!! Is that good deal thats preety much he told under the table and also includes transmission oil flush !

That's a very good deal. If you just add up the parts, even at internet discount rates you get pretty high up already.
Then labor costs near me are very high, up to 80-100/hr at book rate. I would expect to be charged maybe 10hrs for the work you mentioned. sp that's 800-1000 right there.

Yea i got a guy who will do it for like 200 his name is Franky he drives a big red old ford Van lives in your area... give him a call he will hook it up

yeah that's a pretty good deal for a no hook up price. make friends with a tech asap!

That guy is doing the whole timing belt and maintenance service job for $300? Seriously you need to jump on that NOW. I charge about $800 to do it including parts and that's a great deal already. I also replace every seal on the engine(both cam seals, front main oil seal, water pump seals, valve cover gaskets) with all OEM parts. It costs about $50 for every seal on the engine besides the rear main oil seal, that one is a bit more pricey at around $25-30 alone.

$300 WAS BY MY mechanic who i known for years now....but that $300 for his labor only....i had to buy my parts....this is i got a hookup now is sumone i had sold Furniture to and i remembered im as my customer ...so $800 for him that includes all the seals all oem parts and he will work in lexus service center ..he is a manager for service dept

I'm actually driving down to south florida in December... I wish I had that hookup... I really need to get my timing belt done... but I'm having a hard time finding free time.
