Sunroof GS300 Vs. GS400
Kind of a silly question, but I just want to confirm before I order a product.
Is the 1998 GS300 sunroof the exact same in dimensions, fit, etc... as the 1998 GS400 sunroof?
Like I said silly question but the manufacturer only has the part listed for the GS300 and the part isn't avaliable for the GS400???
It is a WeatherTech sunroof wind deflector.
I got a nick in the ?rubber? surround of the sunroof on the outside of the vehicle (right @ the front edge). No leaks whatsoever, which is good, but when it rains is swells in the area and recently it was below freezing and covered in ice and really swelled up.
Still no problems (thankfully) and the swelling went down but I would hate to see it swell up one day and cause damage.
The thought on adding this part is it will somewhat protect the slightly damaged seal from rain, more importantly snow and ice. It will also hide the swelling when necc.
Thoughts?

Bought the GT Styling one.
The smallest most discrete one out there.
Your right this is a band-aid fix, nothing more, but it should get me through at least the next couple of years.
I don't know what I'm doind with the car I have a demo vehicle I use for work, so I don't want to invest much $$$ into a car I don't really drive.
Not bad for $45 Vs. replacing the sunroof or sunroof surround for ???$$$
