Default Washer Fluid Line pinching

Tried searching but to no avail.

Has anyone out there had their washer fluid line pinch so only about 1/3 of the power is pushing the juice out? I can see where the line is bending on the driver's side and get full force if I hit the button when the hood is opened. So it is the line that's pinched for sure when the hood is closed.

Any ideas on how to fix or upgrade this thing? I was thinking about some kind of hard sleeve to put over it but what if that just creates two pinch points instead of one?

Thanks for your time,

Ross

it sounds like the line itself is getting brittle if its pinching.... see if you can replace the line or a section. I've had lines freeze and break on me before (never on the lexus). All i did to repair it was connect a section of new tubing that i picked up at home depot... a lil ghetto, maybe not the lexus route, but it worked... just an idea...

Where is it getting pinched? Moving it or putting it back where it should be won't fix it?

What you can do if it's getting brittle in the middle of the line is buy a piece of plastic from your local home dept. store and go to Petsmart or any other pet store and buy a two way valve to join them (usually used for air line sin aquarium filters).

Update,

I sort of fixed the problem by unclipping it from where it is held by the hood. That gave me enough extra line to snake it to the inside of where it was getting pinched/squeezed. Car is in the shop for a bunch of other stuff right now. I'll update again if this "fix" turns out to be unsuccessful.
