Default Found......

I found a 1998 GS400 I am trying to get. It has 112K miles and fully loaded (navigation, xenon etc). Silver on gray leather. I can pick it up for $7500 is this a good price? Anything I should look into? I have 1993 Lexus GS300 so I know few things about Lexus cars my GS300 has 230K miles so I take care of cars. Thank you all.

ask about the timing belt, check all fluids.... and if it turns out well

ask if they have service or maintenance records for the car. that price is real nice if the car was maintained and taken care of

About 3 months ago, I picked up my 98 GS 400 (silver on black) with 105k miles loaded but without nav and xenon. I grabbed it mostly because it had a full Lexus service history down to the license plate bulbs and timing belt. Paid ~$7,900 for it in Milwaukee after a rough negotiation period. I felt pretty good, though!

Good price yeah, good car who knows.. it all depends on condition.. some options are nice to have on the GS4 esp. the Nav and Xenons.. 17"s and rear spoiler are nice too.. Besides the timing belt another expensive job is the starter so ask about that.. about $700+.. Good luck..

Well it is a SAAB dealer so they don't know anything about maintenance. The car has xenons, yellow fogs and stock navigation but no 17" wheels only 16" stock and no spoiler on trunk.

there are better deals out there...

2002 gs430 levinson and nav with 80k for 11,500

im from alabama and had to fly to chicago to pick it up but well worth it to me..retail on the car was around 23k when i bought it a year ago


high pressure switch for the ac is the ONLY problem that i have had with the car so far..has 120k on it now..yeah, i drive a lot

picked it up off ebay!!

7K is a lot? I paid 13k for my 02 sportdesign with 85k. & I thought I got a good deal.. can't complain.. maybe its where I live in the middle of nowhere and its not as competitive

Everybody talking about 7500 is too much, lol if that man wants navigation he can get one installed instead of being stuck with the factory navigation. Compare 7500 to 11.5k thats a 4 thousand dollar difference and please stop talking about mileage because if the body it in good condition and no damage he is good, a matter of fact he could throw a 2jz up in the bay and mileage wont matter. Look at all these people on here with old *** 92 sc coupe and when then drop a motor in that 200k+ chassis they ask for 19k-20k for a damn coupe that was out when Micheal Jordan was in his prime. How come I dont see people complain about mileage then. LOL straight comedy penny pinchers acting like this was a civic on honda-tech.

i got my 99 in 06 for 13500 ... shame to see even 7k is too much nowadays ... I might get rid of my 528i for another gs in white with ivory leather this time ;P
