Default Good by to CL! It's been real!

Just wanted to take a second and thank everyone on here for everything they've done for me! I'm currently parting out my car and putting it up for sale. I'm going to buy a diesel truck to pull my boat with and run on veg oil for free!(screw you gas companies!) I have really enjoyed my car and being a part of this community! Maybe one day I'll be back!

Why are you leaving the site? Did you join only to receive and not contribute? You could still contribute without owning a Lexus.

I will let you guys know how it goes! I've talked with several people that already have it on their truck and they love it! You start the truck with diesel and run till the temp comes up a bit and then hit the switch to run on oil.......when stopping you cut back to diesel about 1 min before you cut off.(if you going to be leaving it for quite some time) So basically a tank of diesel will last about a month or more! the oil tank will be 40 gals....so it should last me a couple weeks also!

no.....i did contribute, but don't have near as much time for it anymore. i spend alot of time on the Nautique forums for my boat and on the diesel forums not about the truck i'm looking at buying!

Thats a lot of work. I dont think my work and life styles would tolerate the warm up and cool down processes. But if it works and save you loads of cash awesome!

Please post pics and details up for us. It would be a great peek into the diesel world at least for me. Maybe you should keep the Lexus and use all that saved cash to mod it to the gills.

Default You'll Be Back!

It's alway's nice to meet new members and hard to see them go, but most of them return after a while of being away? Good luck and keep us posted on the veggie fuel!
