Please post up wheel widths....that will help us understand the situation.

Btw...im on 20x8.5 / 10....with +25 offsets all around....and Dunlop SP9000 245/35/20 all around as well....kinda stretched....and no rubbing. Tire brand choice is also a factor as some tires are designed to taper inward...which also helps against rubbing.

If you look a couple posts down there is a pic of me rubing in that pic you can sorta see that the rim sticks out past the fender. I am almost kinda thinking I was givin the wrong offset.
i would be inclined to agree with this statment did you buy the wheels new ?? maybe the person you bought them from may have told you the offset was 30 but maybe they were mistaken ??

they are 20x10 in the rear with a 255/35/20 with nitto extreme. The thing is no matter what kinda stretch I have with the tire it doesnt excuse the fact the fender is hiting the rim itself.

Oh...ok...you got "20x8.5 and 20x10 with 225/35f and 255/35 rear with a 25offset front and 30 rear".

Since you have Tein CST....try set the dampening to HARD. With those wheel gaps shown in the other thread...you should NOT rub...unless you are on the softest setting on your Teins.

I do think tire choice is a factor. My Dunlops sidewall normally taper inward at the outer edge....so going stretched with 245s on my 20x10 rears helps...imo.

Also, no fender mods at all....and no rubbing.

Pete

Seriously? 3 pages on rubbing problems, with non agressive wheels? Pull your rear fenders until they don't touch under compression.

I Have them set to the stiffest. Maybe the bump I hit was just the godzilla of all bumps on the road. I mean it was devistating. But still I worry about it. It just kinda pisses me off because I was hoping to go lower. Now I just dont feel comfortable doing that.

Btw....my oem camber bolt is maxxed out in this position....i got the most positive (+) camber possible. Im still out of spec tho....about 0.8 degree out with my current 1 finger gap.

Since you need more negative camber....you need to turn/move this bolt to the far right (in this pic).

No rubbing....maybe check if your Teins are blown or not.

Looks like you got 2 realistic options....
  1. Shave and/or pull fenders
  2. Add SS Kit (RCA) for more negative camber.
I guess the risk and cost of each needs to be weighed. Pulling fenders is an art...alot of ppl think they can do it...but only a few can do it right.

I just added an SS Kit a few weeks ago....btw..not EXACT ones....another brand. Simple mod...easy for the DIYer.

That's not that bad. Did you take off that black plastic fender arch? What tire size are you running? I think if you lower it more it'll work.

PHML, what kind of SS kits did you get? Youzealand? Can those add negative camber? Because the Exact ones only add positive camber.

Yea I took the plastic fender arch off and im running 255/35/20. Why would it work if I lowered it more? Is there anyway to visually check if my coilovers are blown?

When you lower a car more, you'll get more negative camber that will tuck your wheels in. Where exactly are you rubbing? The only way is to get under there and find out and cut away at whatever is in the way.

This could not be a more true statement. It is not just the wheel offset and tire width to take into consideration. I have 20x10 Donz Montanas lowered on Megan Coilovers. I was running Toyo T1's in 275/30 and never scraped the entire time I had this combo. I then replaced the Toyo's with Yokohama S. Drives in 275/30 and could barely drive the car due to rubbing. I have yet to shave my fenders so I had to raise the back. I was shocked at the difference
