thats a good deal, but it doesn't have the charcoal but I've honestly never noticed much difference between the ones that do versus the ones that don't.

you can also get cabin air filters from rockauto with the charcoal for about $5 to $10 more. They have the beck arnley, wix, and denso. I'm currently using the denso which went for $25 i think.

no problem joel.yeah i figured i would load this info with how cheap some people are (and i dont blame them) figured some people would love this instead of paying 60+ from stearlership or 45+ from auto place. yeah i take mine out and clean it alot but i only change it like every 3 months maybe i need to start doing it more often.

hey mo, i didnt think this one had the carbon charcoal activated in it but its still a good deal and better than the ones people making for almost the same price IF NOT more. i guess i'll switch back to one that does... where can i get the one from rockauto? ne link?

compliment it with this.

Rip out the wires... stretch the cloth and use the filter housing, trace, and cut ( make it bigger than size if filter). place it into filter housing then place filter on top if it.

dont do stuff like...its just not really worth doing that as it wont protect from the same amounts of PPM plus you can get the oem filter as i showed for cheaper than the one you wanna get and then cut up

ok i will look. in the summer i use ac all the time but ANYTIME your using your heat or air it has particles blowing through it, so its constantly getting dirt/etc moving through it! im also a manager of a HVAC-R supply house (for last 9 years) and i know about air quality and im a little **** about it so i change it more often. it should be cleaned or changed every month really...cleaned more often than changed i guess for some of you......its similar to a air filter in your house furnace or your engine filter (home filter should be changed monthly but alot people dont and in the summer a/c systems and your bill suffer for this)

I was suggesting using the oem filter in conjuction to the suggested method. As PPM, the filter I linked to are pretty efficient... I don't know the specs on the oem filter.

I did remove mine and noticed that there is some restriction to the airflow when installed with the oem cabin filter. But I also noticed a lot of nasty dirt that got filtered.

I will continue the current setup

trust me im a heating and air guy. just buy the filter meant for it, the filter u linked to wont do the same PPM and its just not worth it when u can buy the oem filter for so cheap
