GB on Tanabe Springs-Near done-please post what spring u want if you are interested
I was thinking about this today as I have seen a good number of new owners and people asking about springs.
Not sure which vendor we would approach about it, but I wanted to see if there was any other interest on here in trying to put together a group buy for Tanabe springs for our cars. B2 Auto Designs has the cheapest prices that I have found- ~$220 shipped or less for most sets of Tanabe springs.
Anyone down? Any vendor recommendations?
I need a set of DF210s and was going to buy Vincent123's but came up a little short on cash. If we get enough people with interest maybe we could approach a chosen vendor and try to get them for around ~$200 shipped.

You're one of the guys I specifically thought about when making the thread.
I just PMed B2 Designs to see what he could come up with, so I will keep you guys posted. I wonder if it would be possible to get it to like $200 or $210 shipped for DF210s. Most places sell them for $250 or so, but I just wanted to see if there was enough interest to do a group buy. Maybe even people who don't want DF210s could get a rate on something different...GFs or whatever.

but like you said, it'd have to be around 200 shipped...have you been in contact with Tanabe themselves? or another retailer? I'd be curious as to see how many guys we could get in on this, i mean a $100 discount is pretty huge (i think they sell for 290 msrp no?)
while we're at it, I'll look for someone regarding maybe espelirs? wouldn't hurt.

GF's might be a better avenue since i know they dont sell nearly as many as DFs or NFs, and the GFs are only stiffer rated than the DFs by about .4kg

FWIW, B2 also has Tein and Eibach stuff. Espelirs would be a good one too.
We just need to get a bunch of people together and then go from there. Strength in numbers!

Since there are a few different spring options I was hoping to see if we could maybe get like a certain percentage off, or a coupon or something to use with one retailer. I think I would like the DFs, I have seen others mention GF and NF and I know that B2 offers all three. I am not sure what other retailers to check with.

The DF's and GF's are almost exactly the same except the GF has a slightly higher spring rate (i believe only .4kg, DF for Dress up master, GF for Grip master) personally I'd feel better with the stiffer spring rates limiting travel since i'd be on stock shocks. And like i said, im pretty sure they sell less GFs so it's a chance for them to move some inventory by lowering their margins a bit.
See what a price on GF and DF would be. I dont know if many people would bother with the NF if we could get DF or GF for cheap.

all goes well we should be around that price with authentic products, AND supporting a CL sponsor vendor, which may lead to more GB's later on. That's just my viewpoint on things.
