Damn that sucks!! Like someone mentioned above I totally agree! At least they didnt take the car and strip it, Or strip it and burn it!! I see that alot at the auto auctions. Did you have wheel locks?? A good suggestion is to have a couple different sets of wheels locks, That can either deter them or slow them down. Also a good alarm helps. But again anytime your car is not in the garage tucked away its an easy target!! My buddy had his Integra GSR stolen with a tow truck right in front of his apartment....The next morning it was recovered with the interior gutted and no engine or transmission!!!!!!

By the way if you have home owners insurance that should cover it!! Being that anything on your property would be insured if you have home insurance!??

I dont even think you need a pillow if you are using hand tools and there are no wheel locks. The whole process is pretty quiet without air powered tools.

I have (4) gorilla locks....and (1) gorilla spinning lock on each wheel. Nothing is safe, but the my locks are a deterrant....and will make it harder/longer for them to steal....maybe by then, someone will notice and call the cops.

No locks are like an invitation to steal them.

I would drive around to any local bars and beverage places... how many normal people would have 8 of those crates at their disposal? You never know... thieves are stupid...

Convenience stores may have soft drink crates also.

I should ask my brother... he works for a convenience store ... Now I'm looking for a new set of rims. I'm thinking stocks or aftermarket with crazee locks and a pitbull tied to my car.

Dude you need a big wall, a tiger, and a major video surveillance system!!!

Seriously though you can install one of those driveway chimes that lets you know when a car enters. Except you can have it chime in your bedroom when people start walking in and out of your driveway. Or even several of them. Just an idea.

If you were only running 4 locks switch to a full set of 20. Maybe mix them as PHML did just so its that much harder for a thief. For alarms others can probably give better suggestions then me but I would just make sure you get a proximity sensor and a mercury trigger to help alert you if someone is getting friendly with your car without permission.
