... It's funny... I can't think of a single one that's illegal on my car...
1) tint (fronts are legal to 50%, which I have them all around except for windshield)
2) Lowering, it's not that low... not as low as my old car which is right on the limit
3) LED brake lights, it's DOT and never said it have to be halogen, it's brighter anyways...
4) license plate LED, never heard of a rule I can't put LED... just rule it have to be white... which I am
5) wheels, nothing wrong...
6) sub, nothing either
7) intake, FIPK, no rules to it...
8) exhaust, just magnaflow rear section.... maybe? as it says I'm not to enlarge the exhaust, but I didn't, I just double the tips. lol
9) brakes... better brakes.... nothing wrong
10) I've not have enough mods.

If i get pulled over by a cop on a bad day he can give me a ticket for:
1. Tints, each window if he wants, including windshield.
2. Aftermarket HID lighting
3. Possibly my exhaust when it gets put on... HKS
4. The little tree airfreshner is illegal on the rear view mirror (my first mod)
5. License plate covers
6. DVD while in motion (didn't even have to do a bypass so I'm not sure if its actually a legal issue or an issue of the manufacturer getting sued by the same people who eat hemorrhoid cream)
7. Radar if I'm in Virginia...
Eh... I think that's it... so far I only got busted for tints... once.. and I took it to court and beat it.

Just my non legal ones:
1. Front Door Tint
2. No Front License Plate

stopped me and gave me this little yellow paper to help remind me 
. I went to the DMV and picked up my stickers and all is well. Fortunately he did not give me any static about my tint or front plate either. Definitely not your normal CHP man.

i thought any engine mods (intake, headers) were illegal unless u have a carb sticker, WELL IN CALI ATLEAST because of emissions.
haha and its illegal to have ur car's headlights lower than 27 inches. im not sure how they measure it... if they count it at the bulb or the top of the lens...
and anything lower than 70% tint for the front windows are illegal
and mufflers have to be under 93 db
im pretty sure my insurance will deny me if i have anything besides a bodykit and wheels

Come to Cali sometime. Any car that is suspected of having non CARB certified engine modifications can be pulled over and checked. Once they pop your hood and don't find a CARB sticker for the Intake and Headers they will ticket you or worse.
Wheels are not illegal, Suspension I am unsure of, and Non-CARB anything under the hood is definitely illegal.
