Default is there an art to angling????

I was on my way to a buyers friends shop to sell my g35 rims. Well their drive way to this shop was quite steep going in and out! i didnt scrap at all but my car is kind high at the moment. But i was like how the hell you guys get out of that driveway with your slammed honda???

he was like like go to the left then angle out to the right and right when you think you are about to scrap either back up and angle more or just turn the wheels straight and go straight out and you wont scrap.

Well i did the turning my wheels straight thing and it worked!! And when he was talking about backing up in the drive way that reminded me of that platinum vip motorsport youtube video. b.c one guy backed up and then angled more and then someone else turned his wheels straight and didnt scrap!

what kind of art do you guys think is there to angling out of a driveway when you have a steep one with a car slamed about 2-4"s from the ground?? any advice tips? i mean im ok so far but i know you guys have your ways of getting out of driveways, speedbumps, etc etc

so whatsup? if you think this is a worthless thread o welll!!

Best I can say... plan ahead. There are certain driveways that I must plan
way ahead and take into account local traffic on the road when pulling out.

If there is a car leaving a steep driveway, I often have to miss the driveway and
come around again for another shot or use a different driveway- I usually need
all the space I can get to get a proper angle.

The undercarriage isn't so much the problem, it's the front bumper.
Headed straight out of this driveway? No way...

But at an angle, my old office driveway was manageable (with 1/4" to spare)
On certain speed bumps the exhaust can be an issue if I have four thugs in the
car. Going at a slight angle can help, or sometimes you just have to let
it drag... painful sound.

man you car is crazy low. But i guess when i meant straighten out the wheels i meant more like when you are already angled and you think you are about to scrap straighten out the wheels and you will just glide on out!

it takes practice
you'll learn which places are mod friendly and which places you just might skip going to. angling is a b*atchu because it forces others waiting to get in/out while your slammed sorry a$$ gets in/out and drags your piping.

pay to play my friend. but at least you look good while doing it!

By having your car low, you really have to drive differently than the normal height. Can't get to the drive way straight away. Just like this pic

I personally won't take any of my lowered cars to placed I've never been or places that have crappy roads/dips/potholes/etc. My driveway is pretty steep and I find it easier to back in to maximize the angle I go in at. Just remember to get one wheel over at a time.
