Well if you think the John Cooper works fitment sucks on mini's then we have a problem ...Its the same supplier ..But if you aren't in on the group buy on the initial order I guess the prices will be inturn higher *well logic*

Don't get me wrong. I would love to see these parts made for the GS and would consider joining a group buy...AFTER I see the parts and read the feedback.
I don't doubt the fitment on a Mini. Those are Mini's. These are GS's. I haven't seen any kind of pics of the prototype parts. I don't see any kind of evidence that there IS good fitment on a GS. I haven't seen any evidence to support that there ISN'T good fitment on a GS. I would rather wait and see the actual product on an actual GS and pay for actual production parts than pay less for prototype parts I've never seen on an actual GS. I don't mind paying extra $$$ for parts not from the first batch or first set of tooling.
I've seen non-prodcution carbon fiber parts on CarbonGS's car and, hell, they look fantastic. But those are parts he made. So until I see any kind of prototype, I'm going to hold off on a group buy.
