Interested!

Are these the "stick on" LED turn signals? Or will I have to replace the entire mirror unit?

NOT "stick on"

you need to take your orginal mirror apart to replace it.

You are still using your orginal mirror and motor.

The only thing that you need to be replace is the housing itself.

less $30 bucks for non paint mirror.

Which is $299.99 - $30 = $269.99

there are wires that come with the mirror, then you have to hook them up with your signal light and you can hook up the puddle light with the dome light.

When you turn your signal, it flashs.

The puddle will turn on when you unlock the car, same as the dome light.

I think that if you want a big turn out for this, you will need to be able to offer it to both ends of the 2nd gen GS owners (98-2001) & (2001-2005).

When you first offered this it was going to all 2nd GS's, now after your test fitting you have found out that it will only work with the 98-01 GS's.

Its a shame I'm in the later, and was one of many that was really looking to get this. I even had my wife hold off on any christmas presents so she could get me this. But now she's out looking for something else.

I think what you should had done was to do all your testing first once you had a better idea as to what years of the 2nd gen GS's this would fit, then out go and offer it to the masses, just my two.

OP was apparently gauging interest trying to help the 2GS community. unfortunately, it is what it is.
Back O/T, hope there's other 98-00 owners who will be interested in your offer and that in itself may help you recucsitate the chances to have it made for the 01-05s. GL!
