GS300 driving lights
Hello people! i was on the sc300 forum and they suggested that I come here and ask questions about the GS300 driving lights.
I have a 92 sc300. The car does not have driving lights. the newer sc300 model has driving lights located at the highbeam lamp.
how do i convert my "high beam lamp" into driving light.
some suggested switching it to low beam but HOW?
some also suggesed that i lower the output to a lower 12v so it won't be bright (less blinding for people)
some suggested that I get relays... what do i do? helpppp!

are you talking about DRLs? daytime running lights?
thats what it sounds like cuz u mentioned running lower than 12V
stock DRLs run the "high beam" at 6V, so they are dimmer. they are required in Canada. There are actual moduals u can buy at the autoparts stores that will quickly convert to DRLs if u need them. Most ppl that are importing cars from the states need the DRLs to pass inspection. Otherwise u need a relay to trigger them to run at 6V. Not being a electrical genius, so i have absolutely no clue how to do this.
