I personally like them to tuck up closer to the bumper and maybe sticking out a little less. I don't think they are too far out though. Just a personal preference. If you like then they are good.

Thats perfect... Thats how I had them when I had the clamps on.

I don't think they stick out to far I just think maybe raise them a little more closer to the bumper..
