Sry. Voice texting kind of messed it up. Code is p0761. All I'm wondering is if each solenoid has to have 14 ohms to operate correctly. That one that was fluctuating between 12.9 and 13 kind of has me wondering if they all need to have a strong 14 ohms
Replace the solenoid that is indicated by the code. I had a different code for a different solenoid and a new solenoid fixed my problem never to return.
You did measure the resistance after you unplugged the solenoid right?
Yeah but the problem is figuring out which solenoid it is. I mean I have the diagram and everything but the only proper way to figure it out is to test the ohms from what I've heard. There are a total of 4 shift solenoid. How do I know which one is bad?

Dude you are doing guess work, find out your code and replace the part. This post is specific for P0763, solenoid "C" and that's it. If your code is not P0763 then you need to do more research. The part is a dealer part, it's not cheap but it will fix the problem.
I understand I see what you're saying. The code is actually p0761 shift solenoid C but all they list on the diagram is S1 S2 S3 S4 I'm assuming S3 is the one. I guess I'll just order one from the dealer and install it with my fingers crossed LOL

The solenoid is indeed S3. Just so you know, it could be a blockage in the valve body.
My code was P0980 which was the same solenoid but mine was detecting an open or short in the solenoid.
Yours is a stuck open or close.
You did a power flush...was that before or after it threw the code? If you did the power flush before, than that could have caused the problem depending on your definition of a power flush.
BYW, the service manual has a very good description of all the codes. I bought paper ones for my car on eBay
Thanks for clarifying that for me man. Weird thing is when I drove it today in manual it worked fine. Then when I clicked it over today for the last 20 miles or so of my trip it wouldn't come out of 3, just revved way up and wouldn't shift into 4... weird!
Well I ordered the shift solenoid "c" to the tune of $275, got it in today, replaced the "sl3" solenoid and the car is worse. So I spend over an hour on the phone with my closest lexus dealer (which is 3 hrs away) And he tells my that the code P0761 or P0763 are just a generic codes and I would have to test each solenoid to see which one is bad. Now, I tried the ohms thing but had all diff numbers, so that was pointless... On the one that I replaced that was "bad", I hooked it to my battery and it clicked away like a champ. Now the car is studdering away when I go to take off when it was only now shifting out of 3rd before. I am now a little over 900 into already with me doing all the labor.. What should I do?

It was before the flush. I used maf cleaner to clean the hell out of the valve body, even in the holes where the solenoids sit in
Gatorland Toyota in gainesville fl. I think what I'm going to do tomorrow is drop the pan again and manually test all solenoids to make sure they're clicking. I mean I'm almost out of options here
Think I may have it figured out. If you notice the highlighted Parts on the picture you can see that S3 or code p0761 which is referring to SSC is actually a solenoid assembly 3 Way number 1 solenoid. They sent me out S4 which is a solenoid assembly 3 Way number 3 or SSD . So S3 solenoid C is actually solenoid part number 1 where is in part number 3 is for S4. Kinda confusing but look at the second pic and you can see the difference.
