Not unless you are filthy rich.....so $1100 is a drop in the bucket for those folks.

It's almost a test of gullability... I'm sort of insulted JP would have the ***** to price that high. It's like buying comes with a free slap in the face.

(No offense, MrExecutiv--I'm talkin' about JP. The GB effort is appreciated regardless of price!)

none taken. When I heard of the price increase I also had the same reaction as you guys. but in reality most of the japanese companies have increased their prices due to the poor economy.

if you are FILTHY rich, 1. you would not be driving a 2nd gen GS, and 2. you would be smarter than to spend $800-1100 on a fully decorative piece of metal with little to no resale value.

Although the price is , JP has always been more about exclusivity. There are a small number out there. This along with it's clean, simple design (I know it's not unique), it is one of the more coveted grilles.

For classy lines, the JP is my favorite grille. For sportiness, I like the TTE. The JP is definitely on my list of must-have grilles, as long as you can fit it into the budget. Although I don't foresee one in my future, I can still appreciate it.

With that said, there is also a fine line between limited, exclusive business and no business.

i dunno, the car looks great btw, the fitment on the grill LOOKS great too but i just dont like the slotted grill look kinda reminds me of the mercedes style grills. i guess i would buy it if price was decent but i wont even consider it for that price to many better mods i can do, as of now i have the DIY chrome but im thinking of making the black out grill now
