Question quick question

I tried searching the forums but I get too many useless results, so anyways
do you guys use 93 only when filling up? or is it OK to use something lower?

also, theres a video on youtube where a guy says to use "revised" ball joints because the stock ones are known to fail. do you guys know the part # thats hes talking about.

This is for a 1999 GS300

i use 89 octane and the car runs just fine, just be sure to use some fuel system cleaner every now and then just in case. As far as the revised ball joints, just make sure you get replacements that were made somewhat recently. Once lexus found out about the problem with the ball joints they remanufactured them, i wanna say 01 or 02 was when they did so, carson or sewell will be able to help you out.

I agree with RI-lex, just stick with 93 for that peice of mind and tp avoid that piston knock from using cheap gas..
