Default Wood dash trim kits?

Has anyone purchased/used/seen this kit in person?

I'm not about to sticker up my interior with cheap looking parts, but I am curious if this kit matches the factory wood console and door panels on a 1999 GS300. If it does, I'd like to add a few pieces from this kit to my interior.

I believe they are a few members who have purchased those ebay dash kit.
I might myself is looking into this... There is just something about a complete wood interior that speak elegancy to the eye (eye candy).
Suck that most of the GS300 came with partial wood interior.

Those who have after market wood interior please feel free to post some pictures along with your opinion on the product

it looks surprisingly well! the pieces are made of a gel substance and matches 99% but it depends on how faded your current wood is. The center counsel tends to fade much faster since its in the path of sunlight, while the doors are fine. I put the kit on, and it looks rather well... Oh yea, get a wood steering wheel!!! Will look MUCH better!!!

looks cheap and tacky. Wood is nice, but like anything else, you add too much and it looks like ***.

Agreed, wood stickers are about as cool as vinyl nose bras and metal rear window louvers. Sorry, I just don't get it...

Oh no!

I had to do it. Yes, I'm kind of an ****...

tan interior is too damn plain! (I still dont understand why people have to insult saying bad taste!) usually comes from people with pretty much stock cars with basic upgrades...

these kits look ok on our cars, certainly not flawless but not bad either. most ppl cant tell they are an add on. You can have some real problems if the pieces to not fit on perfectly however. heres mine:

I have the birds eye maple and the color matched almost flawlessly.

1skcvc & ProfesrLEX...

Are your kits the same eBay kit that I am looking at, or are they different? The kit I am looking at on eBay does not specify a color/wood type.

yes most tan interior IS to plain so y add a 100 piece kit when OEM kit is like what 20 pieces? we saying its bad taste cause MOST are going overboard. i have said it before and i will say it again....i just think the color looks funny on most especially on 1skcvc...i woulda left the black interior alone or gone REAL oem wood

ACTUALLY of all the ones i have seen....i like this one the best ... ALMOST looks oem till u look at the door (button part looks fake otherwise it flows right here, maybe its the color i dunno but this one i like although i still would prefer the naked black interior (im a adulterer over the black interior)
