My balljoints snapped at 150,000 miles

$300 to replace both balljoints, then I was back on the road.

Yeah, I ordered all ball joints, tie rods, etc. the other day from Sewell. I'm gonna get them done as soon as they come in and I'm almost at 80,000 miles on my '02 but will be lowering it the same time so I want everything to be perfect but at least you're okay and you only damaged a wheel which can be repaired easily if that's what you choose to do.

my car is at 154K and my instructor inspected them a month ago and said they were fine...thats why i was wondering if lowering it really does that much damage...

i dont think lowering effects anything..i have seen pics on this forum with normal rides on the ground..its a problem with GS from 1998-2000.. mostly when i got the joints changed the guy told me they were almost out-

Guys, if you haven't changed your balljoints already, DO IT!

Good time to switch to poly brushings as well.
