let us know what's up.

Since I highly doubt that 8000k bulbs are out, I'll wait for your shipment to make my judgment.

Just don't wanna have any fellow ClubLexus member get screwed that's all

How much more blue would the HID 8000k lights be compared to the GS? would it look like the Audi lights? thanks

Question 8000k

I have seen aftermarket HID's on a car that looked much better than any OEM HID's. The owner told me that they were imported from Europe. He also said that they were illegal in the U.S. I think they were called "Germans" and that they were a brand new model. He said that they ran at 8000 on the kelvin although I cannot confirm. They cost him about a thousand bucks.

they being illegal is not a fact.. i'm sure when 10k going come out there will be exactly same threat..

oh no 10k.. too bright..
why would you need anythin over 8k?
they not legal!!!

blah blah blah
same story over and over

since no where is WRITEN that they are NOT legal i assume that they are.

i can help anyone to get them for $500

Question 8000k's illegal ?

I never said 8000k lights were illegal I just said that the ones he had were, as they are not even sold in the U.S. I'm sure the ones you are getting for $500 are much different than the ones he has. This guy works for an aftermarket performance parts company I'm sure he got the best deal possible on his lights($1k).

we were just discussing this on another threat.. unfortinatly i do not belive so due to those lights basically replacment to yours, they are just bulbs plus another module to make them work due to they not just regular bulbs .. no auto leveing unless your car already had HID and i'm not even sure if you can make it work then.. i belive you'd need to have lexus do this upgrade to you.. which they won't.. they wont do anythin other then OEM

It's weird how you mentioned that you need another module to make them work. Do you have factory HIDs and is just upgrading the bulbs? Or you had halogen and is getting the complete set?

If you had HIDs and are just upgrading to 8000k bulbs, I don't see why you'll need an additional module.
