That's wierd because i see that u have yellow foglights, are all the GS's fog lamps yellow? because if im not mistaken, I could have sworn i saw a GS with halogen lights, including the lamps, they weren't yellow

Question

O.K. a1exus, last question (at least from me) are your new bulbs
"D2R or D2S"? Because looking at the several pics you provided, the light appears to be blasting thru from every angle! Like a flood light. I now understand that the D2S would probably do this since it does not have those "strips" painted on like the D2R used in "projection" applications. So apparently the D2S is going to throw out more light output due to it not having that strip on the bottom....................?

I see that on the one website these bulbs are $100 a piece! Any better prices on another site?

Souldn't that be "with strip"

Isn't the D2R used for reflector housings and the D2S used for projector?

I bet it might be the camera, but the difference in the pics, beam scatter, between A's pics and Shinchan's pics (Philips 6k Ultinons)is incredible - take a look if you haven't already from the link I posted above.

Someone said I messed up the post. Or maybe you were referring to someone else?

No I'm afraid you guys are misreading my post! It is very clear: I now understand that the D2S would probably do this since it does not have those "strips" painted on like the D2R" What's messed up about that? Anyway, after speaking with my aftermarket shop guys here in Dallas, they say that just replacing the factory bulbs with these "8000k" bulbs will work, but WILL NOT BE AS BRIGHT UNTIL YOU UPGRADE THE BALLAST TO! Can someone confirm or deny this? So our factory ballasts won't power up the bulbs sufficiently???

TXSTYLE, what enginyr and I were talking about where you messed up was in your second graphic you posted. You said "D2R without strip." D2R has the strip, so it should have been "with strip."

Your low beams are 9006. Check out this site for all the GS light part numbers. Ignore most of those numbers, the ones you want are in bold.
