Mark,

I would have to say that you have had several "red flags" about this particular GS...so I would say...put this one on hold...and keep looking. Maybe broaden you color choices and look at some other GS400's and 430's. There are a number of super clean GS430's on auto trader...white/tan interior......you must have seen these. That black interior...although rare...is gonna be a pain to keep clean and it will show the wear more than the tan. Just a thought.

Good luck on your hunt for a GS!!

well it depends it it was a Lexus loaner i MIGHT as you know ALL the maint will have been done and it will sit MOST of the time as the dealership doesn't like giving loaners but they will. now i wouldnt buy a enterprise or budget loaner car....jesus. even i know what i do to them when i get a rental

With that, I'll keep looking for my perfect single-owner GS430, I have the time to wait You guys have been AWESOME
people are idiots and when they don't care about there customers, they will tell you ANYTHING just trying to make a sale....

carfax's can be inaccurate....especially if someone fixed the car themselves or we. and its POSSIBLE they cannot get its service record...i know IF (and i doubt it was) was serviced by a Lexus dealership they can always tell you (regardless of where it was serviced) what has been done to it

gl finding the single owner gs430 lol im not sure they exist....plus im about ready to burn mine to the ground.... man i need some sleep and for once a break with this stuff.......... (don't ask, just don't ask) im the special person ALL the "good, cheap, easy stuff happens to"

You can go to any Lexus dealer and give them the VIN number and it will give you all the service history from every Lexus dealer in the country. When I bought my Lexus the lady told me she had lost the file with all her service records in a recent move. We went down to Lexus and they confirmed she had been very **** about servicing the car. 2 months later I got a folder in the mail with all the actual service records. Ive never seen another White on Balck GS430 and I look all the time. Something seems sketchy to me though. Plus I would never buy a loaner vehicle. I personally have a good time when I get a loaner car. The price is right though. Keep us updated.
