Default Why is my car bogging down.

When I accelerate at low speeds then let go of gas and reaccelerate it bogs down. It's like it loses power then gains it again. It bogs down at about 2000rpms then after it slow down it finally gases up. What can it be?

What's the condition of your transmission fluid? It sounds as though the tranny isn't downshifting at the right time or is delayed.

I still haven't changed the fluid. My car has about 88,000 miles on it.

You def. should change the fluid, it should be pink, but with 88k it might be brown. I would not recommend a flush just do a drain and fill.

tranny fluid, diff fluid, maybe even a gunked up TB or Maf. Just check the usual suspects.
