IMO the car looks 100times better with the darker tint, i was skeptical on goin darker than 35% but you just helped me make my decision to do 20% with 50% on the front.
Your car looks sick, I love the Niche's....whats ur headlight/fog set up?
6000k? with stock yellows?!

I bought the Niche's because they were such a good deal at $800 with tires, they are a great temp setup over the stocks, but in the near future once I get money I'm gonna flip them for $1000 since they are in mint condition with no curb rash and get some Modulare M7's with brushed center and chrome lip in a staggered setup with 4" rear lip...

To answer your question about the light setup... I'm currently running 8000k on low beams and 3000k for foglights with yellow tint film on lens cover.
I like the 2900 lumens of output that the 3000k fogs put out, Once I get the new wheels I'll change up the 8000k to 4300k to keep it clean. Plus now that my front windshield is tinted I need as much light output that I can get

Nice ride shern, thats super clean!!!
It's very easy to beat the tint laws here in AZ, all you do is go to Beverly Hills car wash on rural and university and talk to Mike(i think thats his name) and ask him to make you a reciept that shows tint removal and tip him $5, then take that to the court house show them that you have removed the tint even though it's still on your car and you get out of the $150 fine![Big Grin](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I was talking to kyoso23, he has the black SC, he also has tint on front windshield and he says he never has that many issues and takes the same freeways from work to home as I do. I take Priest to 202 to 101 then get off on shea. I've been taking the same route for 3 years and have only been busted once, but it was because I was in the carpool lane in the morning trying to get to work on time because we have a $250 per month attendance bonus if your never late. Anyways I would have done only 5%, but the 35% film that was already on my car is in perfect condition so I decided to layer the 5% over the top of it. With the (2) films combined it's 3.8%. Stripping tint is hella hard to do so I decided to take the easy route.
I know it's not as safe, but I've had 35% on front windshield and double limo on sides for 5 years and never had any issues with being able to drive. I keep my side windows down most of the time.

Damn, that really looks good. Not to jinx you or anything, but I think I get away with it because my car is black and the tint is metalic on top of that so it doesn't stand out. I also only have the windshield tinted @ 50% so it's not that dark. It just takes away that "cave" look that comes with tinting the rest of the windows so dark. I will say this too, the windshield tint sure is nice when it's light out here. It is sooooo bright all the time, and it cuts the UV out as well and I can see perfectly fine at night. I don't know about 35% on there though. From the pictures, it stands out quite a bit on your car because of the contrast of your shiney white car. I really love the black roof look on a white sedan that's tinted up, but your car is DWP isn't it? I'd skip it unless it was straight up white. Your car's looking really good mang. Keep it up!

Looks wise I think it looks great. I think it is hard to see out though. I drove a dark grey truck with I think 5% rear tint. I could never see the end of the back tailgate at night. Rolling down the windows was the only way to reverse and be able to see where the end of the truck was. I personally hate rolling down the windows and like them up all the time so it was a PITA for me.
