60k SERVICE COMPLETE
I got my car (2001 GS430) service and hoping that they was not going to break me off on the price. I had got a quote last year and the lady was right. I paid $386. I do not know if that is good or bad. They said all my major parts was good (ball joints, brakes etc....). I know that some people had been talking about the price. This is the price that I paid.

yep yep...maintenance manual gives you the list of what need to be done..for $386 is about what an average 60k service job...when time for you to do 90k then it get a bit pricey..not a whole lot...better than owning a Benz...that is my $0.02

yeah there is a list of what to do. I'm asking him what they did for that price. Not every dealership does the same exact things. and that price sounds excellent compared to what I was quoted. just wanted to know.

Theses are the things that they inspected: Transmission, Body and Paint, Brake Lines Hoses and Connections, Brake Pads and Rotors, Drive Axle Boots, Drive Belts, EVAP System, Exhaust System and Heat Shields, Fuel Tank, Lines, Cap and Hoses, Parking Brake, Propeller Shaft, Rear Differential Fluid, Suspension Ball Joints, Steering Operation Linkage, Transmission for Leaks, Rear Differential for Leaks, Steering Gearbox for Leaks, and Engine Valves.
Overall, they said that my car is in great condition. I do not know if they are pulling my leg or not. I know that I could save some money if I do some of the things myself, but I just do not have time. So, I try and just follow this service manual and get the repairs.
