i have been putting in sound systems for 15 years now and the cheap line converters end up giving you engine noise you have a lexus go spend 200 bucks for a nice line converter like the lc6 or rockford fosgate makes one as well why cheap out and waste your money when there is better options out there plus when your ready you can upgrade your highs amp as well i had the lc6 in my car but ended up wanting dvd so went with d3 from pioneer if your interested i have pics of how it was wired into the stock amp behind your glove box let me know if you need those pics

Have you PROFESSIONALLY installed sound systems and won awards at competitions, or are you a self-proclaimed expert like some of us . Yeah, please post pics.

Engine noise can be various things, there are some people that expirience engine noise with high end equipment, so this happens even without line converters.

So, you're a professional audio installer, drive a "LEXUS", but you only installed a D3 with the stock equipment, yet you call other cheap for using a line converter I guess the place you work for don't give employee discount

Like I said before, if someone only want to install a sub, there is nothing wrong with using a line converter. I used one without any issues and only took 15min to install. No professionals here

I haven't had engine noise problems since just after HS with my early installs That's been over 15 years ago. Fiber Optics does wonders
