ok I got my stuff in the mail today and well it works and it doesnt work lol. With both led bulbs installed and both drls plugged in only the left side works. With one oem bulb plugged in and one drl/led plugged in the drl/led works, but the oem one does not. With both drl/leds plugged in they work together only on high beams.

Im going to get in contact with v-led about this and see if they have any idea as to why and if not then ill dig deeper into it. Any idea what is inside the drl modules? And how they allow the leds to work on both drl and high beams?

I am hella confused as to why, but my brother is good with wiring/electrical so im going to get him wiring schematics for my car and for an LS since they work on that car so he can compare whats different.

On another note the back firing 4 led 194's work and look great.

my 98 GS 2gs does not have Drl ?????is it how it suppose to be? has high beams offcourse and 194 bulb in there

DRLs are your high beams running at 30%-50% power/wattage. Not sure if 98's had DRLs feature but I thought they all did, could be a blown fuse or bad bulbs if they are not working.

it's running at 50% VOLTAGE, not wattage. Seems like no big deal but its actually a huge difference.

If he's got high beams working, i'd guess a blown DRL fuse.

i have all the lights working as well as my high beams i dont think my car has DRL unless i am wrong...anyone can make sure if 98 does have that drl feature

had to bring this post from the dead.....did anyone ever find a way for us to get LED DRL's like the 3rd gen?!?

Not exactly sure what the 3rd Gen LED DRL's do but if you look in the lighting section on CL there is someone who was able to get it so you can get LED DRL's and still have the highbeam function, you have to use some kind of plug in.

I got it to work on my 2nd gen. You have to buy a harness that v-leds has made. Check out my thread in the lighting section.

This is gonna sound like a really dumb question but which is the "headlights on" position? Is it with the switch clicked all the way forward?
