Default 98 GS400 Fog lights

Guys...I've just bought a 98 GS400 as a daily driver...and noticed that Fog lights are not working...When i turn the switch on...I hear clicking noise from fuse box and checked the fuse...it seems fine...Just been lazy to check the bulbs

well, maybe if you replace your bulbs, it might work. wats the point of making this thread?

are foglights hard to replace? Reason y i posted this thread to see if there is other common problems with the fogs going out...Thanks for your reply though.

theres only 2 screws on the front of the lamp

i believe there was an issue with the stalk or lever comming out of the steering column where you switch the lights of and on. try wiggling the ring that controls the fog lights and see if they flash off and on.

Welcome to the 2GS section, glad everybody's making you feel at home. Like people said, you can see the two screws that hold the fog light housings in place to the inside of the lenses. Check the bulbs and get back to us. The clicking noise is strange though, are you sure it's coming from the fuse box or might there be an HID kit with a relay that's acting up? Long shot but it's what came to mind.

your kinda new so y ridicule someone,he's been here SEVERAL years even before me? plus u ASSUME the bulbs r out and we wont know that till he checks them

to the op stop being lazy and check the bulbs as everyone said and get back to us...

read up about the foglights, they are notorius to get stolen, while ur at it checking the bulbs maybe you can replace the philips screws with hex screws to prevent them from being easily stolen.

so wat if im new?? i have been in alot of forums so i know how it is. and if he been here so long, he should know not to post stupid threads if he didnt check out the first possible thing that might be wrong with it. instead, he decided to make a thread about it and said hes LAZY to check. so any advice givin, he might be LAZY to do that also.
