Help... Is it POSSIBLE???
i own a 2003' gs 300, is it possible to replace the original head unit with a after market double din? or do you have to buy one that has a flip out screen? I'm looking for an in-dash with a navi... help me out!!!

do you have a factory nav or no? This is a big characteristic that we need to know before we can give you an answer.
If it's nav, plain and simple, no. It can be done, but it requires removing your factory nav setup from the dash (including computer in the trunk and all) and buying a non-nav climate unit, then a DDIN bracket kit, then you can put a DDIN nav in.
If it's non nav, you just need to pull your old radio, buy a bracket kit, and wire the ***** in. You will lose the use of your factory cd changer and i believe amp. Which isn't a big deal because the factory one sucks anyways and if you're replacing the HU you're likely to be upgrading the rest of your stereo in the near future.
