Default Revisiting interest in LED Mirror Blinkers and Puddle Lights for 01+

I just had a chat with nigelchow about what it would take to get the 01+ crew the same mirror blinkers and LED puddle lights that the 98-00 guys now have. He said it would depend on getting a set of the 01+ side mirrors to do a test fit/fabrication on and also the number of people interested.

Finished product would probably be identical to this:

Is there anyone in the L.A. area who would be willing to let nigel borrow the shell of your side mirrors for a bit?

Who is interested in purchasing a set of these?

I agree. If they can make the puddle lights more flush, I would be down for a set. I do like the look of the turn signals, but the puddles look like an afterthought in that pic.

I can sort of understand what you guys mean about the blinkers (though it does not bother me) but the puddle lights ...unless you are 1.5 feet tall you're never going to see the bottom of the side view mirror so is it really that important that 1/8th of an inch of plastic protrudes from it?

It's not a huge issue, I just would prefer it, I suppose. Would these be pre-painted factory, or would we have to have them done up? If we have to have them painted, I'd probably fill them in and feather them up myself prior to paint.

Default Count me in....

Add me to the list if you're going to start one. Oh and by the way I don't care about 1/8"......

I think they will come pre painted but perhaps you could work something out with nigel for an unpainted set? Who knows...

If it's already painted, I'll stay with it. No sense spending an extra $200 just to get that in. Oh, and thanks a lot for the foot and a half comment. I'm actually 2 feet tall, thank you very much.
