yeah i was going to say, Zip tie is definately the best way to do it. You typical 'standard size' black zip tie slides through and is the perfect size, get it about half way and then grab and pull. You may not be able to do all of them by hand first time, might need to pull with some pliers, but once you've had them in and out once or twice then its easy

the right tools making things a lot easier.

panel removal tool takes them right out with very little effort

coulda swore i had said that....maybe im just dreaming or maybe like last week i thought i posted the comment but because u ant post more than one in a min i didnt realize it and closed my tabs without posting it?

either way the panel tool makes this a breeze as jriggs said

don't half *** a nice car with duct tape on the trunk deck

on the fd rx7 when i took the wing off i went to the store and picked up some little rubber plugs that were shaped similar to nails but widened near the head then got skinning again stuffed them in the wholes and ran that for months before having the wholes filled in

lol do you think im going to keep the tape there forever? its only there until i find someone to swap trunks with.

dont say im half assing anything. i rather put some vinyl tape that matches my trunk color then plug them up with rubber plugs that wont match the color of my trunk.

The plugs actually dont look all that bad though. Looks like your trackin it rather than ducking it.
