u think it is ball joints huh??? i was going to change them out for my own piece of mind...

but something really weird happened this morning... cold start... i was reversing out of my parking spot and the rear tires went up on a small leftover patch of snow... i stopped and put the car into D and i hear a loud click/clunk noise coming from what sounded like the rear passenger side wheel??? :wtf:

the car wouldn't move forward... i had to reverse more until the wheels weren't on the snow anymore and put it back into drive, then i was able to go through, no more noise...

can anyone shed some light on that for me??? i'll be searching too...

Congratulations on the buy, have fun.
Might want to check the joints as well as the suspension for any wear and tear.

"Resist" all you want, you dont know it yet but the mod bug's already got you locked on target...it's only a matter of time before he get's you.

Like recommended, check your ball joints, but also do a "once-over" on all the bolts you can from the under carriage. I had all my joints replaced and also had the clunk/pop noise when I'd step on the brake after turning in reverse. I had my shop check for loose bolts front to back, they said they found a few loose ones and afterwords the noise was gone.

yeah i gotta admit, the moddability was already one of the reasons i went with this car... it will prop put me in the poorhouse...

this sat/sun ill try to get the car in the air and do another once over on the ball joints and bolts...
