u think it is ball joints huh??? i was going to change them out for my own piece of mind...
but something really weird happened this morning... cold start... i was reversing out of my parking spot and the rear tires went up on a small leftover patch of snow... i stopped and put the car into D and i hear a loud click/clunk noise coming from what sounded like the rear passenger side wheel??? :wtf:
the car wouldn't move forward... i had to reverse more until the wheels weren't on the snow anymore and put it back into drive, then i was able to go through, no more noise...
can anyone shed some light on that for me??? i'll be searching too...

Like recommended, check your ball joints, but also do a "once-over" on all the bolts you can from the under carriage. I had all my joints replaced and also had the clunk/pop noise when I'd step on the brake after turning in reverse. I had my shop check for loose bolts front to back, they said they found a few loose ones and afterwords the noise was gone.

"Resist" all you want, you dont know it yet but the mod bug's already got you locked on target...it's only a matter of time before he get's you.

this sat/sun ill try to get the car in the air and do another once over on the ball joints and bolts...

nice pick up kamlug, lol it's ironic i was looking at that same GS for a while. i had to pass on it because i wanted black interior instead of ivory. nice mileage and well kept, i live around that area as well so i would see it everytime i go to work. well enjoy ur gs you can learn alot from here
