You should flush ALL your fluids(Brake, Transmission, Differential, Radiator, PS) if you haven't already, Spark pulgs, Carbon Cleaning, and Drive belt as well. I did all mine at 90k at the DS, cost me too$$$. Good luck.

Thanks will definitely do that.
Not sure what you mean. I thought these were the parts closest to the timing belt, and since I'm doing that, it would be easier for me to replace them now (as service was not done) than later on.

Maybe he means the fact that you've got LX470, LS400, SC400, and GS400 listed. See below:
Now do you see what he's talking about? It seems highly unlikely that the seal and timing belt are the same for a GS400 and and LX470, given one is a 4L and the other a 4.7L.

I got the part numbers off a past-thread (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...w-to-soon.html). I checked the part numbers with Carson and they were all compatible with the GS400. Also, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for the GX and GS to have the same seals, and the GS and LS to have the same timing belts, given the same engine platform.

fwiw, if it's not much to rebuild your starter (if it's still factory).. I would do that too. Parts are like $10. I made the mistake of forgetting about it when I did my 120k service. It now only starts up after a few tries. I wish I would have just thought about it before, while everything was apart and saved on labor.

This is for those who are contemplating replacing cam seals for the 400.
TWO quick questions;
IS IT POSSIBLE to remove the camshaft timing tube from the intake cam leaving the cam in place by just remove the front bearing cap and unbolting the drive gear? It looks like it may be possible but I don't know...
If the intake camshaft must be pulled must the exhaust camshaft be pulled as well?
Here is how it it shown in the FSM
