As the title states i need help on find how to remove the trunk. Ive tried to searching and checking google but nothing came up. Im actually trying to do a trunk swap so if anyone has info on the DIY or Links please feel free to post. Thanks in advance.

this may be a dumb response, but have you checked for bolts at the hinges where the trunk lid sits on the hinges??? i haven't looked at the trunk lid closely but usually most cars are bolted this way... if it isn't any different it should be four bolts???

Remove trunk lid liner.....disconnect all wire connections and straps....remove inner taillight fixture.....remove trunk bar....disconnect and remove latch and key mechanism ....and lastly, unbolt trunk lid from hinges.

Note....2001+ trunk lids have the safety open latch from the inside....98-2000 does not.
