Thumbs up Squeaks-SOLVED!!!!

Just a follow-up-some of you may recall my '02 GS430 had all sorts of squeaks coming from the rear

@ lexus first lubed the rear bushings (sway bar)-helped only a little

@ then they really went to town: replaced rear struts and mounts and refitted and reinsulated the entire rear seat frame assembly!

Problem solved in 2 days at no cost and with a loaner ES 300.

One would think they found the squeaks to be a symtom of a bigger problem. I don't know how much noise your car had, but that's a lot of work. Which dealership?

What did you think of the new ES300 since you had it for a couple of days?

Lexus of Larchmont (NY)

As Im sure you know-Lexi are known for their QUIET ride! so this may have been a challenge to them esp w recent competition from BMW, Mercedes etc

When it comes to unknown noises squeaks etc I think your best bet is still Lexus dealership-make sure the service guy drives the car with you so he can hear the problem first-hand
