Default need a little help with wheel fitment

[B]Im looking to buy a set of staggered 20" for my 98 GS400.......I prviously ran 20X10 43mm in the rear and 20X8.5 36mm in the front .........the new shoes are availible in 20X10 36mm (hopefull Rear) 20X9 w/ 46mm or 36mm 20X8 48mm 38mm 36mm just curious witch one would fit the best......I would like to run the 20X10 in the rear with a 36mm offset and 20X9 with a 46mm offset.....Im cool with doing some minor modification to the fender if needed....and help would be greatly appriciated.......

Im not too sure on this, but I believe somewhere in the 20-30's offset range would be considered flush, but your 9 and 10 width front and rear look good to me.

i would go

Front - 20x9 36mm
Rear - 20x10 36mm

I would predict, depending on ride height/camber and tyre choice that you would be a bit sunken with those offsets, but good if you want to tuck i guess. i dont think you would even have to do anything to the guards (again depending on tyre choice and camber) But if you do it wont be much.
