45 minutes later, a multitude of cuss words, a few scratches, a bent post on the light bulb assembly and 4 attempts to mount it correctly, it's finally on. I'm going to bed. <whew>

i got my 6000k replacements on none other than ebay. i scored the pair for $54 [picked up] and i couldn't be happier. believe these guys when they say installation is no easy task

its not brighter. general rule is, 4300k is the brightest. the higher you go, the more blue and the less bright.
are my headlights now not as bright as they were before you ask. maybe so, but i cant tell. i do know they are **** poor next to current generation HIDs.
take the new ES for example. i pulled up next to one on the highway, and the light spread from his/her headlamps was AWESOME. made my lamps look like flashlights. how the 2GS beam pattern in soft, wide, and even; the ES pattern was very bright in front of the car but wider and softer to the sides.

www.autodirectsave.com $85.99 for a single NEW Philips 4300K D2R bulbs lowest price ive seen w/o goin on ebay n getting a used pair for $50.. just ordered mine.. they should be here in a few days
