I'm picking up my apexi neo today, getting it for 175 unused! Now I just gotta find a place to mount it and than I'll be ready for the install than the dyno. I've searched and I belive a few had put it in the ashtry/cig. lighter area but I haven't seen a DIY total write up. Has anyone?

I have it installed in my ashtray...it fits great. Not really too much of a DIY needed. Just use a dremel and hollow out the inside just enough to fit the Neo in there. It JUST makes it.

Oh, and it must fit perfectly flush or you will not be able to close the ashtray after the install. Of course, you will lose your A/C jack (cigarette ligter). I left mine connected to the wires and re-routed into my glove compartment so I can still charge my cell phone when needed. lol. GL!

Craigslist baby!

well I'm in the process of cutting the ashtray in order to fit the neo in there and yea Rock-a-Lex it's a PITA. I'm thinking of getting a sanding tip for the dremel and start sanding the hell out of it till it fits. Right now it looks all chopped up.
