98 gs300 messing up please help

Well i got the code read and it's P1349 any ideas

P1349 is VVT system malfunction (bank 1 )

Check the wire connector to the VVT controller, make sure its plugged in.

Is you oil coming from your VVT pulley? Pull the top timing cover and see if there is oil on the inside of the VVT pulley.
