I photoshopped a 98-00 taillight with the 2 circle mod, but it turned out VERY weird. Plus it doesn't work like the 2001+ taillights. I've red-filmed the reverse-light part also to get more red for working space, and changed the inner circles to clear ones, and then hooking the wires up so that the center trunk lights now work as reverse-lights. Then I do the usual black/smoke tint on the big red part. This is what it looks like (I think it's weird)

I can see clearly now!
For those of you who have not seen this thread, I provide the following for information:

I just received cleared out tailights for the GS from CSHFLW. As you can see from the thread above, I tried this DIY mod but almost messed up the assembly while using a heat gun so I contacted CSHFLW.
Another thing to consider is Hudini was successful in the thread above, however, if I am reading the thread below correctly, he may have had trouble sealing the assembly while putting it back together.

What I can offer is my experience with CSHFLW for the clear lenses. He was very direct and the lights arrived as expected. He included all wiring, bulbs etc. The lights are sealed, the workmanship seems of good quality and he even mailed them insured all the way to Guam which costs a little more. Thanks CSHFLW!
Note: This mode requires to seperate the lense from the housing and put it back together. The new seal is not as smooth as the original, however, it is sealed and is concealed when the trunk is closed. When the trunk is open, only a 4" modified seal is apparent, but is does blend well. I'll post pics ASAP.
Globe, thanks for the tip on the tape. Now I can modify the stock lenses and have two sets.
I hope this helps!

Actually my rear taillight got into a fight with a pole....and my tailight lost. I didn't have enough play doh to seal the lense back together. So I had no choice but to buy a new tail. The method we used sealed it perfectly with black silicone and a thin rubber strip to make it look like it is stock until you blind the driver behind you with your blinkers.
Hey Globe, if I didn't do this, I would have definitely would have done what you did. Looks GOOD..

Hey Cong, Thanks for sharing yours info with us. i am kinda confuse with the film. What kind of film are you using? are you using the film that people use to tint their window or the Vinyl film that most lowriders use on their upper windshield or (letter vinyl sticker). Please let me know, thanks
